Body Solid has been in the industry since 1981, longer than most, and are one of the largest suppliers of home gyms and strength training equipment.
They have a reputation for building high quality, well designed strength training equipment.
Body Solid makes a range of single stack, double stack and even triple stack multi-station home gyms.
They also offer several leverage, free weight home gyms, commercial gyms and a variety of weight benches and specialty strength training equipment.
One of the overall best things about Body Solid home gyms is their quality of construction. Here are a few examples:
Cables – Nylon-coated cables are constructed of 2200Lb. test, galvanized steel in a 7 x 19 cable pattern. The cables are engineered to meet U.S. military specifications and carry a 4:1 safety factor against stretching and breakage.
Pulleys – Fiberglass reinforced nylon pulleys revolve on sealed ball bearings that never need maintenance and give a lifetime of friction-free performance.
Frames – All Body-Solid machine frames feature all-4-side welded construction instead of the typical 2-side stitch welds that are standard in the industry.
DuraFirm Pads – DuraFirm pads are tear resistant and extra thick with the highest density foam in the industry.
